I can't believe it's time for the games again already. It feels like just yesterday we were all back in the Districts getting ready for the Reapings, doesn't it? I have a good feeling about this year.
And of course, I'm just so looking forward to seeing all of our friends again. We just love it when you come to visit us, darlings.

The Games are truly the most fantastic part of the year. I feel as if I'm floating on a terrifically exciting cloud. Congratulations again to everyone who helped make last night such a success.

I thought it was best not to bring this up at dinner, but I wanted to inquire as to whether you've brought the idea of an alliance up with the tributes or other mentors yet. I've been setting up several meetings with sponsors for the both of you; and I've had quite a few people ask about whether or not Four would be able to work with One this year, after what transpired in the Quell. I've been assuring them that Four will have the strongest team regardless, but I wanted to check with the Two of you. Do share your thoughts, dears.

Oh boo, I can't believe it's almost over! The Quarter Quell has certainly been a momentous occasion! Congratulations to the team from District One on yet another win, and to the rest of you for your hard work, as always. Better luck next year.
I can say that people on the streets seemed thrilled with Satine's hard-faught win, and are of course looking forward to seeing her talk about the games! I do hope that she recovers soon, I just can't wait to hear what she has to say.

Oh MY, that was QUITE an KILL! Congrats, Brayden!! And you too Mags, of course. I kept telling people that Haline still had the killing spirit in her, I just knew it!
This is so very exciting!
If Satine wins, I think they should give her TWO new eyes. In a more flattering color. Yellow, perhaps! Yes, yellow eyes would be delightful, don't you think? Anything is better than that DREADFUL patch.

Unfortunately Mica, I don't think anyone has much hope for the tiny thing going on much longer. Of course, I think we're all impressed that you did so much with such a young thing to begin with. I'm sure that the sponsors will remember it for next year.

Well, we're finally down to the final 8! I must say, I do love the Capitol at this time of year. The streets are lit up, people out shopping for fashionable new items to show their support for their tribute of choice -- it's just marvelous. Really highlights the supportive and encouraging Capitol we all know and love, don't you think?
I know that the papers are saying different things, but Capitol Daily Post has the girl from One has a heavy favorite. She does seem to be the healthiest of the lot, doesn't she? And certainly I have noticed a lot of one-themed hats and purses today! But let us not forget the tiny underdogs from Nine and Twelve! Plenty of my friends are rooting for the little ones.
I made a little friendly wager this morning that "Ginger Dick" (oh, these Tributes are so magnificently vile sometimes, aren't they?) would be the next to go.
Anyone else care to share their guesses?

Well, the strong tributes we were sent this year have been spectacularly yawn-worthy. Usually the children from 1, 2, and 4 are more impressive. But my dear little Tram is still plugging away, bless his filthy, adorable little heart.
